This morning, we had our first opportunity to see our soon to be bundle of joy.
We arrived at Mobile Bay Ob-Gyn just before 9:30 a.m. and were able to witness the little guy/gal squirming all around inside Betty Clair's womb. The baby seemed to be full of life as he/she constantly moved and twisted during the entire procedure. The ultrasound tech even made note to point out two times how "long" the baby's legs are. Little did she know that this is a Hatcher baby and those legs are probably about as long as they will get.
The baby also showed a healthy heart beat of 160 beats per minute and all visible organs and body systems seemed to be developing normally. Upon further examination, the good doctor said all things at this point were "as good as a 13 week ultrasound can look."
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience today and are now even more excited than before about the things to come with our new blessing.
